Buyers are you “In the Know” when hot new listings come on the market?

Green Flower Logo Cindy PrattMore and more people are positioning themselves to take advantage of low interest rates and stable home prices. As the market heats up, home buyers are finding themselves in multiple offer situations or worse yet, they didn’t even know their perfect home was for sale until it was too late. Now more than ever it is important to be on your toes.  One of the best ways to be “In the Know” is to sign up for an auto email service that emails you directly from the MLS as soon as a home hits the market. Too many buyers think they can just look daily on one of the big websites like Zillow or Trulia to see what’s new. In reality, those websites get their listings from local MLS feeds 48 to 72 hours after they are listed. That may be too late for some buyers, especially if they are looking for a home in a specific price range without sufficient inventory.

Are you wondering why Berkshire Hathaway real estate signs are popping up all over Yakima?'s the scoop. Berkshire Hathaway, a Warren Buffet company, acquired a majority interest in the real estate division of Prudential Financial in October 2012.  All Prudential real estate offices across the nation will make the name change in the next few years.
Prudential Almon Realty will officially become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices on November 20th.
Prudential Almon Realty was eager to make the transition; knowing the new franchise name and the strength that comes with the new brand will bring added benefit to their clients.  Prudential Almon Realty, soon to be Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is locally owned and will continue to operate with the same trusted, knowledgeable, experienced real estate agents and I am proud to be part of this great team of realtors!
